The challenge
The CEO was waiting up to a week for custom reports from the data team — who were themselves pulling numbers manually from three separate systems. The ops lead estimated she spent 14+ hours per week just reformatting exports for board slides and investor updates. Two quarters in a row, the board deck included numbers that later turned out to be slightly off, eroding trust in internal data.
What we built
We built a self-serve internal reporting tool with a pipeline that syncs product, billing, and support data into a single warehouse nightly. Leadership can pull any report with saved filters and drill-downs. Finance gets scheduled exports automatically. The ops lead's Friday afternoon data-wrangling session is gone.
